Tips and Hints

The starting point to achieving harmony and attainment, (on and to any level, and to any degree) between you and your animal, is to link your mind with his; this is the essential essence of Rosi Caswell's System of Animal Therapy, and needs to be practised extensively.

 

1. Always engage and link with the animals' mind, and feel what he is thinking and feeling, before asking anything of him. 
This is equivalent to turning on a computer, before putting in data.
 
2. Always believe whatever you feel or hear from him, for it is there to be heard.
 
3. Always be clear in your own mind, what you require from your animal, and make it clear to him also.
 
4. Always praise warmly, liberally, and often, making clear that you are praising for what you have asked of him, however small an amount of that requested, he has complied with.
 
5. Practice, Practice, Practice, mindlinking, until it is second (or even first) nature.
 
6. Remember, many roads lead to Rome. Find the correct one (by trial and error) for you and your animal.
Dietary Suggestions
 
If a change of diet is needed, always implement this gradually, over 1 - 2 weeks, adding progressively more of the "new" diet and depleting the "old". 
 
Start with a ratio of 25% new to 75% old diet, and gradually reverse the percentage until the new diet is fully in place.
Look to your intuition, to feel if diet may be playing a part in your animal's problem. 
 
Whatever size and type of animal, dairy products are best avoided, as animals often do not, after a very young age, have the physical ability to assimilate such; this can add to an already present problem. 
 
Wheat, as a food content, needs to be observed, as again many animals (of all types) can be intolerant or allergic to wheat.

GROOMING

It is good practice to groom all animals daily, as it allows one to check for cuts, grazes, lumps, bumps etc, as well as stimulating blood vessels and energizing in general.  

 

THE USE OF Ti - TREE OIL

Here are a few tips regarding the amazing natural product Ti-Tree oil, which I have used with enormous success (forever it seems).

TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF FLEAS

8 - 10 drops of oil in 3 - 4 ins of warm water in a plant spray, applied once or twice weekly. 

OR 

5 - 6 drops of oil on a soft cotton glove, running hands through and over the animal's coat (again applied once or twice weekly).

 

N.B. The spray can be used on animals' beds; in the car if applicable, and around all the edges of your house (if animals are indoor "people").

This will prevent any possible breeding of fleas, and will keep the house "disinfected", helping also with dust mites etc.

TICK REMOVAL

1 drop of oil directly onto the tick, which will fall off intact within a very short time, (10-30 mins)

MITE REMOVAL

Several drops of oil directly onto damp cotton wool,  wiping over the infestation areas, i.e. between claws, folds of ears etc.

SKIN PROBLEMS

Bath the animal in Ti-Tree shampoo, and put 10 - 12 drops of oil in the final rinse water. Do Not Rinse Out;  dry as usual.

For sore irritated skin, apply as an ointment, by mixing several drops of oil with a small amount of Vaseline (make fresh each time), the mixing utensil should not be metal.

To keep ears fee of infection and discomfort, especially those in long eared dogs, and in some long haired cats with hairy ears, wipe out ears regularly with 1- 3 drops of oil on a small piece of cotton wool. NOTE: Do not dig deeply into ear, but wipe in and around, as far as you can easily reach; how often depends on the animals' need, but ears, along with the animal's coat, feet etc, should be checked at the daily grooming session.

 2 - 3 times per week to clean ears is a good rule of thumb.

THORNIT

This is a natural product,  that again I have used for many years with great success.  

It is excellent for prevention of ear problems. Thornit, used once weekly or fortnightly, (depending on the animal's tendencies to sensitive ears), after wiping out with Ti-Tree oil, has prevented many major ear problems from developing.

LAVENDER OIL

Lavender oil too, is a natural essential oil, which can be very useful for any condition which is "hot & burning" i.e. scuffs, abrasions etc, and can sometimes suit some animals better than Ti-Tree, for ear problems etc.  

Always use your intuition and discernment when deciding which product may help with your Animal / Human journey, but remember, although it is necessary to treat the "symptoms" of any condition or situation, the key to reversal of such, depends on establishing and working with the root cause.

Caring for our Energies

 

Caring for our own Energies is something most of us pay little heed to, as we assume they take care of themselves.

 

Not so; it is important to care for our Energies, for that keeps us Balanced, strong, and vibrant, on all our levels of being.

 

It also helps us to be a good channel for helping Animal/Human Partnerships with their rebalancing structures.

 

The more Balanced we are, the clearer channel we are able to be on all levels of our being, enabling us to help others on all levels of theirs.

 

One of the most obvious ways to keep up our Energy levels, is to meditate and imbibe the Healing Energy, balancing and feeding our Energy body (Aura), and therefore balancing our physical, emotional and mental bodies.

 

 There are many ways of meditating; no one single method is “correct” - choose the one which is right for you.

 

A good way to “charge” (energise) and smooth your Energy field, (Aura), is to run your hands gently over it in the morning when you arise.

 

 This ensures that you start the day well, with a vibrant Aura, containing no “gaps”.

 

 This exercise of course, can also be undertaken at other times of day, whenever a need is felt. 

 

To carry out this exercise, stand in a relaxed space, perhaps after a meditation, and run your hands over your Aura, approximately 6-12 inches away from your physical body, breathing evenly as you do so.

 

You will feel more “charged”, Balanced and vibrant afterwards.

 

This exercise can be performed as often as you wish throughout the day, but should always be performed in the morning.

 

To ensure that our Energy does not inadvertently leak out of our Chakras (the Energy Centres in the Aura feeding our physical body), which can happen if we are particularly “giving” people, our Chakras can be “covered over”, by “pulling” an imaginary Energy shield up the front of the Chakras, missing the Crown Chakra , which is charged from the Universe, and allowing the Energy shield to fall gracefully down the back of the Chakras, which run through the Energy spine, (the “mirror” of the  physical spine), from front to back.

 

To perform this exercise, stand in a quiet space and visualise yourself pulling this “shield” up from your feet along the contours of your body, to just above your brow Chakra (on the forehead), and “stick” the shield on to your hairline.

 

Next, missing the crown Chakra, (which is fed from the Universe), allow the shield to “fall” down the back of the Chakras.

 

 This Energy shield can be any colour you visualise it (this will be whichever colour you need at the time to rebalance and protect your Energies).

 

This exercise will have the effect of not allowing your Energy to leak out inadvertently, and not allowing others’ Energies to flood into your Chakras thus causing trauma and exhaustion to yourself.

 

 The exercise can be performed as many times a day as you deem necessary, though always perform this exercise whenever you go into a situation, where there are particularly likely to be many Energies flowing towards you, i.e.: perhaps when out shopping, or when speaking profoundly with another person, thereby leaving your Chakras open and receptive.

 

There are other methods of covering one’s Chakras, but this is the simplest and easiest to perform.

 

If you find yourself in a situation where your Energies are down, and you need a quick boost, (i.e, perhaps before the children come home from school), you can create a circuit of Energy and send it round your body - like this.

 

 Sit yourself down (on the floor preferably) with all your finger tips joined and the soles of your feet pressed flat together.

 

Next closing your eyes, breathe in, and visualise Energy coming through the Crown Chakra on the top of your head, down your neck, into your arms, spine and legs, then “see” it circulating and feeding your whole body.

 

 Sit with this exercise until you feel Energised.

 

If you feel at anytime, (and there are many such instances), that your Energy field has been “invaded” by other Energies, it is possible to “cleanse” it.

 

 To undertake this exercise, stand in a quiet space and visualise a ball of Energy above your head.

 

 You may see this as silver, gold, or any given colour in the spectrum. 

 

You will see whichever colour you need to see, for your own rebalancing at a given time.

 

When this ball of Energy has gathered, “see” it cascading down, around, and through, your Energy body, clearing and cleansing any negative or unwanted Energy “sticking” to your Aura.

 

When you feel refreshed, cover your Chakras and move away.

 

On a daily physical level there is much you can do to keep your Energy levels revitalised and renewed.

 

Exercising regularly, will keep your Energy supplies replenished, alongside keeping your Energy field and centres Balanced and Charged.

 

Try to avoid placing yourself too often into positions where your Energies will be drained, i.e. by watching emotive or violent films, getting into arguments with others, or into emotive situations in general

 

All of these situations will potentially drain your Energies.

 

If you do find yourself in situations such as these, remember to cover over your Chakras, and cleanse your Aura after leaving this type of situation.  .

.

It is important also, to mix whenever you can, with like-minded, positive people, as this will boost your energies, (providing you cover your Chakras afterwards).

 

 As with all things, a blend of many factors leads to Balance.

 

NB: One’s own Energies will always be enhanced, not depleted by giving Healing, as the Universal Life Force Energy, passes through us to reach other beings, whether this be from a contact or Distant Healing basis.
